Tales of Christmas Past: Episode 1

Hi, everyone! I’ve decided to begin a new mini series in the form of pictures about my many Christmases. Although I have experienced 14 so far, I’m not sure how many episodes there will be because I don’t plan to do all of them.

Two years ago, my family and I traveled to Italy for Christmas. The plan was to spend Christmas in Venice, finish out the year in Rome, and then stay in Florence for a few days.

Venice

We flew over the majestic Alps…
Saw a cool statue…
Looked at Venetian masks…
And then it was Christmas!

Rome

We saw more cool statues…
Walked through a sparkling cathedral…
And watched New Year’s fireworks from the Vatican.

Florence

We found a cool building…
Bought pretty ceramics…
And found some aesthetic vegetables.

Italy was one of my favorite vacations. I love Europe at Christmastime because it’s festive and chilly. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s episode: Germany!
